Airbus Defence And Space in Getafe, Madrid invites an experienced Test Engineer to join the Avionics, Mission and Nav Systems integration effort. You will support aircraft-level testing, coordinate with design offices and program managers, and help shape V&V approaches.

The role spans planning, data reduction, flight test support, and reporting, with a hybrid work model, health insurance and stock options. You will travel across sites and collaborate to improve testing methods and documentation.

Formación

• 5+ years in Integration Testing for AVS/MISSION/MIDS/NAV systems.
• Engineering background with testing competencies.
• Experience with test planning, validation and V&V strategies.
• Strong English and Spanish technical negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel and work across multiple sites.

Responsabilidades

• Act as Test Specialist for Avionics/Mission/Nav Systems across aircraft and ground/flight integration activities.
• Support Integrated Test Team forum and test program requirements.
• Contribute to test planning, review Test Requests and optimize data reduction and analysis methods.
• Coordinate with test framework and instrumentation to define data collection and monitoring.
• Draft certification/qualification documents and test reports; interface with DO, AW and certification authorities.
• Assist Flight Test Engineer with flight test or simulator sessions, including telemetry safety monitoring.

In this role you will be part of the Integration Test & Analysis perimeter in Getafe, supporting Avionics, Mission and Nav systems integration at aircraft level. You collaborate across test center domains, design offices and program managers to prepare, execute, analyze and report test activities. You will help shape V&V approaches, coordinate data reduction and testing means, and assist flight test planning and external campaigns. This is a varied, challenging opportunity within Airbus’ Flight & Integration Test Center, contributing to multiple aircraft programs and upcoming defense projects.

• Provide expertise in system architecture, design definition for Avionics & Mission Systems integration and validate A/C limitations
• Write or analyze Snags and support design modification recommendations
• Agree on risk identification and compliance integrity as part of responsibilities
