Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid) seeks a Flight Operations Services Engineer to join the Flight Operations Services Team. You will lead end-to-end flight operations solutions, aerodata products, and operational support for military aircraft fleets worldwide, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams.

The role requires a 3–5 year track record in aerospace customer service or flight operations and a strong ability to manage projects, risks, and cross-functional interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of technical aerospace customer services, flight operations or project management.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills; English at C1 level.

Responsibilities

• Deliver core Flight Operations Services and ensure OTQC delivery for global operators.
• Design, integrate and deploy new flight operations service packages for customer needs.
• Define and execute project management plans including scope, budget and KPIs.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation actions across services.
• Coordinate cross-functional interfaces to align services with program objectives.
• Act as technical focal point for tier-1 avionics and data suppliers to ensure SLA adherence.
