Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe, Madrid, is seeking a Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Engineer to join the TAS Services Organization, focusing on the Eurofighter programme and other combat platforms. You will identify, design, develop and validate GSE for aircraft operations and maintenance, and provide on-site technical support at customer bases.

Responsibilities

• Prepare GSE technical specifications.
• Provide technical support to supplier selection.
• Design follow-up for GSE projects.
• Prototype manufacturing follow-up and validation of equipment on aircraft.
• Prepare GSE recommendations for customers and conduct site surveys.
• Provide technical assistance to customers and support on installation and commissioning of GSEs at customer locations.
