Volotea is seeking a Fleet Transition Engineer in Barcelona to manage aircraft entry into service, phase-out, and modifications. You will coordinate deliveries and work with lessors, MROs, and authorities to ensure safe, compliant transitions.

The role blends technical leadership with cross-functional collaboration in a hybrid office setting. Ideal candidates have a degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, 2 years in fleet tech management, and hands-on transition project

Formación

• Degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 2 years of fleet technical management experience.
• Hands-on experience with aircraft transition projects, ideally Airbus A320.
• Familiarity with AMOS and Airbus manuals and data sources.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Strong organizational skills and an analytical mindset with a service orientation.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate aircraft deliveries and redeliveries for smooth transitions.
• Act as technical POC with lessors during audits and acceptance procedures.
• Coordinate with MROs and service providers for repairs, modifications, or reconfigurations.
• Provide technical support for aircraft lease agreements, acquisitions, or sales.
• Follow up on maintenance tasks, modifications, and reconfigurations to meet standards.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support transition activities.
• Review documentation to ensure compliance with EASA/AESA regulations and lease agreements.
• Prepare technical reports, identify discrepancies, and support risk assessments.

How will it be to work with us?

• Support the coordination of aircraft deliveries and redeliveries, helping ensure smooth and timely transitions.
• Act as the technical POC (point of contact) with lessors during audits, and technical acceptance/rejection procedures.
• Coordinate with MROs and service providers to ensure necessary repairs, modifications, or reconfigurations are completed.
• Provide technical support for aircraft lease agreements, acquisitions, or sales.
• Follow up on maintenance tasks, modifications, and reconfigurations to meet required standards.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams like Maintenance, Engineering, Legal, and Operations to support aircraft transition activities.
• Review documentation to ensure compliance with EASA/AESA regulations and lease agreements.
• Contribute to preparing technical reports, identifying discrepancies, and supporting risk assessments.

What Will Make You Succeed In This Position

• A degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (Master's in Aircraft Engineering is a plus).
• 2 years of experience in fleet technical management.
• Hands-on experience with aircraft transition projects, preferably involving the Airbus A320 family will be ideal.
• Familiarity with AMOS and working with Airbus manuals and data sources.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and spoken).
• Strong organizational skills, a methodical and analytical mindset, and a service-oriented attitude.
