At Goodyear Iberia, we want to expand our team. We are looking for a person who wants to grow with us, adding value within the Total Mobility department as a Fleet Services Technician.

Primary Purpose of the Position

Goodyear Total Mobility: Communicate, support, and coordinate the quality service provided by Goodyear's Service Providers for our contracted fleets. Responsible for reporting mileage analysis and approving the work of Service Providers, focusing on cost-effectiveness and service quality.

Principal duties and responsibilities

  • Tire management: control, monitor, and ensure proper tire usage, establishing guidelines and policies to optimize mileage performance.
  • Work with Service Providers to ensure high-quality service through effective communication, improvement plans, and technological tools.
  • Coordinate with fleet contacts to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Audit, control, monitor, and analyze tire maintenance services.
  • Register and promote the shipment and recycling or retreading of tires via the e-Casing application.
  • Promote and train on mobility solutions, analyze data from reporting tools to optimize profitability.
  • Proactively use reporting tools, audit service reviews, and develop service improvement plans.

Requirements

  • Medium-grade vocational training or equivalent.
  • Experience in post-sale service for truck and fleet tires (preferred).
  • Knowledge of the tire transport industry (preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Internet, and Apps.
  • Remote position based in Northern Portugal with 70% travel availability.
  • Flexibility, strong communication, analytical skills, and an agile approach to tasks.
  • English language skills are highly valued.
