Your insights will help shape the future of our fleet, optimize costs, and ensure we remain competitive in a dynamic industry.

Here’s what you’ll experience day-to-day:

  • Drive strategic fleet projects – Lead key initiatives to enhance aircraft data systems and optimize costs, gathering insights that make a real impact.
  • Analyze performance & market trends – Stay ahead of the curve by assessing aircraft performance, monitoring leasing conditions, and understanding regulatory impacts.
  • Keep a pulse on the industry – Conduct in-depth market and competitive intelligence analysis, tracking fleet trends across airlines and manufacturers.
  • Make data-driven financial decisions – Perform initial financial analysis on fleet investments and life-cycle costs, utilizing NPV analysis to guide strategic choices.
  • Build strong business cases – Assess the cost-benefit of aircraft decisions and prepare compelling business case materials to support key investments.
  • Collaborate across teams – Work hand-in-hand with finance, technical teams, network planning, and operations to ensure a seamless and strategic fleet approach.
  • Influence key business decisions – Support the Fleet Director with impactful insights, reports, and recommendations that drive Volotea’s fleet strategy forward.

What you’ll bring:

  • A strong educational background – You hold a degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field such as Engineering Science, Mathematics, or Physics, equipping you with the analytical and problem-solving skills needed to assess complex fleet decisions.
  • Industry experience (a plus, but not essential) – Experience in consulting, aerospace, airlines, or OEM industries will give you a head start, especially if you’ve been exposed to fleet management or financial analysis. However, a sharp analytical mindset and eagerness to learn are just as valuable.

  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment – You can prioritize multiple tasks and manage concurrent projects, thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth airline setting.
  • Languages – Fluent English is essential, while knowledge of Spanish, French, or Italian is a plus, helping you navigate our multicultural workplace with ease.
