Scentium, our flavours company based in Alhama de Murcia, is looking for a Laboratory Technician for the Samples Department.

As part of the Samples Department, your objective will be to provide support to the technical team following instructions and procedures.

Your main responsibilities will be :

• Preparation of flavours and flavours samples for shipment
• Prepare basic foodstuffs for flavour tasting
• Prepare samples of flavours applications
• Keep database and records up to date
• Maintain and clean laboratory equipment and instruments
• Perform physico-chemical analysis
• Assist in the generation of documents

The requirements for the position are :

• Laboratory scientific qualification in chemistry, biochemistry or a related field (degree level qualification is not mandatory but a plus).
• Previous experience in laboratory is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Computer literate, flexible and able to work under their own initiative.
• Passionate about flavours and eager to take on new challenges.
• High level of English or any other additional language is a plus.
