Do you have a passion for our Fleet in Service (FiS) service line, serving our customers effectively and ensuring smooth operations?

We are looking for a FiS Remote Planning & Support specialist to join our FiS Planning team for West Europe, focusing on remote and onboard surveys.

The FiS Planning team includes a Head of Section, FiS Technical Planners, and Planning support colleagues, and is part of the newly established Global Planning organization in Ship Classification.

Since January 2024, the Global Planning organization has supported FiS production through six planning teams worldwide. The West Europe team manages planning and scheduling of FiS surveys across 11 countries.

As a regional planning support member, you will work in a professional, agile, and service-oriented environment, reporting to the Head of Regional Planning West Europe.

Join Our Team as a FiS Remote Planning & Support Specialist

We seek a dedicated professional to support the efficient delivery of remote and onboard FiS surveys, ensuring high-quality results and excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage Survey Requests: Review incoming survey requests, ensuring accurate details and timely updates.
  2. Coordinate Planning Systems: Maintain and update schedules in the new planning tool, DPlanner, and assign surveyors accordingly.
  3. Collaborate Globally: Work with other planners and regions to optimize survey locations and timings.
  4. Drive Remote Work Initiatives: Promote remote survey jobs and liaise with technical experts and customers.
  5. Liaise with Global Teams: Coordinate with regional teams to find optimal survey times and locations.
  6. Assign Qualified Personnel: Schedule and assign surveyors and auditors using advanced planning tools.
  7. Strengthen Relationships: Build strong connections with technical experts, surveyors, and regional teams.
  8. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance planning processes for efficiency.
