Job summary

BETWEEN is seeking a Firmware Quality Assurance Engineer to validate firmware quality through manual testing, design and execute test cases, and collaboratively resolve issues with software and hardware teams. The role emphasizes working in an international environment with a strong English requirement.

You will run functional, integration, and regression tests, document defects, and ensure firmware changes maintain or improve functionality.

Qualifications

Experience in manual software testing and QA
Ability to design, execute and document test cases
Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs (Bug Reporting)
Familiarity with functional, integration and regression testing
Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems

Responsibilities

Run functional, integration, and regression tests to validate firmware quality
Design, prepare, and execute test cases from requirements
Identify, reproduce, document, and track bugs found during testing
Analyze logs and execution results to identify failures
Perform integration testing between firmware, software, and hardware
Validate new firmware versions and ensure changes do not affect existing functionality
Collaborate with firmware and hardware teams to resolve issues
Document test results and prepare defect reports
Run verification and validation tests after bugs are fixed
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and procedures
Use Jira and other issue-tracking tools for test management
