BETWEEN is seeking a Firmware Quality Assurance Engineer to validate firmware quality through manual testing, design and execute test cases, and collaboratively resolve issues with software and hardware teams. The role emphasizes working in an international environment with a strong English requirement.

You will run functional, integration, and regression tests, document defects, and ensure firmware changes maintain or improve functionality.

Formación

• Experience in manual software testing and QA
• Ability to design, execute and document test cases
• Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs (Bug Reporting)
• Familiarity with functional, integration and regression testing
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems

Responsabilidades

• Run functional, integration, and regression tests to validate firmware quality
• Design, prepare, and execute test cases from requirements
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track bugs found during testing
• Analyze logs and execution results to identify failures
• Perform integration testing between firmware, software, and hardware
• Validate new firmware versions and ensure changes do not affect existing functionality
• Collaborate with firmware and hardware teams to resolve issues
• Document test results and prepare defect reports
• Run verification and validation tests after bugs are fixed
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and procedures
• Use Jira and other issue-tracking tools for test management

• Run functional, integration, and regression tests to validate the quality and proper functioning of the firmware.
• Design, prepare, and execute test cases according to technical and functional requirements.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track bugs and issues found during testing.
• Analyze logs and execution results to identify failures and unexpected behavior.
• Perform integration testing between firmware, software, and hardware.
• Validate new firmware versions and check that implemented changes do not affect existing functionality.
• Collaborate with firmware and hardware development teams to analyze and resolve issues.
• Document test results and prepare reports on detected defects.
• Run verification and validation tests after bugs are fixed.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of testing processes and procedures.
• Use issue management and test tracking tools, such as JIRA.

Требования

• High level of English (essential).
• Previous experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance (QA).
• Experience running manual tests and validating functionality.
• Knowledge of creating, executing, and documenting test cases.
• Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs (Bug Reporting).
• Knowledge of functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Ability to analyze logs and identify potential operational errors.
• Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience working with issue management tools, such as JIRA.
