About the role:

The FinOps Optimization Manager is a senior-level role reporting to the Manager of the FinOps Center of Excellence (COE). This position leads cost optimization and strategic cloud transformation across public and private environments.

As FinOps is new at TD SYNNEX, the role requires a confident self-starter with technical level cloud knowledge and experience working with senior executives. The selected candidate will be responsible for building the FinOps practice from the ground up, defining the culture, structure, and roadmap. A strong background in IT finance is essential to align optimization efforts with financial goals.

What you'll do:

The Cost Optimization Manager is the one who takes action. They turn insights from cloud cost data analysts into real, impactful changes that reduce unnecessary spend.

  • Implement cost-saving strategies across cloud environments

  • Monitor and analyze cloud usage to ensure efficient resource allocation

  • Continuously seek opportunities to maximize cloud value for cost

  • Understanding of infrastructure and services

What we're kindly looking for:

  • 10–15 years of relevant professional experience

  • FinOps Foundation Certification – Preferred

  • Azure or AWS Practitioner Certification – Preferred

  • Strong background in finance, with a focus on IT financial management

  • Technical knowledge in cloud and data center environments
