What will you do?
  • Play and test games thoroughly, with a focus on identifying linguistic bugs.
  • Report bugs clearly using our database, communicating effectively across global boundaries in English.
  • Work onsite at our Madrid office located in Alvento Business Park, Vía de los Poblados, 1-3, 28033 Madrid.
What would you do at work?
  • Check in-game text for linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
  • Follow Universally Speaking's LQA process and standards.
  • Use bug databases to report issues and ensure bugs are fixed properly.
  • Become an LQA expert across various projects.
  • Create and execute test cases throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in requirement gathering with developers to support project features.
  • Propose improvements and efficiencies in work processes.
  • Collaborate with the QA team.

  • Quality, speed, and accuracy of bug reports.
  • Timely delivery of tasks.

Requirements
  • Expertise in Finnish language.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

  • Computer skills: MS Office, database handling, record keeping.
  • Right to work in Spain (no sponsorship available).
Preferred but not essential
  • Experience in LQA, translation, or proofreading.
  • Familiarity with LQA tools and CAT tools like MemoQ.
  • Knowledge of the video game industry trends.
  • Higher degree in linguistics.
