What will you do?
- Play and test games thoroughly, with a focus on identifying linguistic bugs.
- Report bugs clearly using our database, communicating effectively across global boundaries in English.
- Work onsite at our Madrid office located in Alvento Business Park, Vía de los Poblados, 1-3, 28033 Madrid.
What would you do at work?
- Check in-game text for linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
- Follow Universally Speaking's LQA process and standards.
- Use bug databases to report issues and ensure bugs are fixed properly.
- Become an LQA expert across various projects.
- Create and execute test cases throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in requirement gathering with developers to support project features.
- Propose improvements and efficiencies in work processes.
- Collaborate with the QA team.

Requirements
- Expertise in Finnish language.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Passion for video games.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented.
- Computer skills: MS Office, database handling, record keeping.
- Right to work in Spain (no sponsorship available).
Preferred but not essential
- Experience in LQA, translation, or proofreading.
- Familiarity with LQA tools and CAT tools like MemoQ.
- Knowledge of the video game industry trends.
- Higher degree in linguistics.
