DESCRIPTION

Want to help Earth's most customer-centric company design, implement, and monitor risk mitigation strategies to improve the customer experience and protect Amazon's brand?

In this role, you will work closely with Amazon's Last Mile transportation businesses to plan, scope, and execute financial reviews to assess carrier financial performance against expectations. You will apply finance and accounting concepts to new and existing business models, communicate findings to carrier partners clearly and concisely, and report review results internally in a timely manner. You will provide carriers with consultative support to classify expense transactions accurately and work collaboratively with business, legal, finance, tech, and HR teams to implement world-class, customer-centric financial review solutions and process improvements.

This position requires periodic travel.

1. Collect, analyze, and manage quantitative data, perform financial analysis, conduct deep dives, and create reports across various data sources.
2. Use data to solve problems and drive decisions.

A day in the life

Financial Review Managers engage with Carrier Partners, planning, scoping, executing, and reporting on financial outcomes. They provide consultative support for expense classification and collaborate with business, legal, and tech teams to implement customer-centric review solutions and improvements. They work effectively remotely and in teams.

About the team

Transportation Risk and Compliance (TRC) is responsible for risk management across 16 regions, ensuring compliance with transportation and legal standards, and improving safety and business growth through risk mitigation and technology solutions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience working with stakeholders
• Proficiency in Excel
• Advanced proficiency in written and verbal Spanish AND Italian

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Professional auditing or risk/ compliance credentials
• Experience with SQL
• Experience defining program requirements and leveraging data for improvements
• Handling confidential information
• Experience in project management
• Knowledge of PowerBI and Alteryx is a plus
