Formación

  • 8 años de experiencia profesional en valoración actuarial en seguros/reaseguros.

Financial Reinsurance is a global strategic initiative located at the core of Munich Re‘s 2025 Ambition. The initiative combines corporate finance, accounting, actuarial science, and regulatory expertise to provide our clients with reinsurance solutions that help them meet their financial and strategic objectives.

As part of this global initiative, a fully dedicated unit was created in 2021 with the scope of defining, executing and monitoring the financial reinsurance strategy for our Life and Health clients in Southern Europe and Latin America.

Following the consolidation and recent success cases of the unit, we want to ensure sustainability of our impact for Munich Re and are looking for a Business Advisor that, as a relevant part of the team, provides relevant portfolio management intelligence, best-in-class executing capability and excellent technical support to the unit. You will work in a talented and high performing team that is fully committed to meeting the unit’s ambitious business expectations.

Your Job :

  • Developing, implementing and managing a robust steering process, proposing the potential management actions as required.
  • Being responsible for the preparation, validation and coordination of all financial reinsurance related internal and external deliveries.
  • Developing a complete and transversal understanding of financial reinsurance strategy, providing relevant inputs observed in due portfolio management process.
  • Identifying existing portfolio / technical improvement areas and defining potential solutions.
  • Supporting the unit in all relevant market initiatives as requested by both the market advisors and structurers.
  • Driving internal and external positioning with relevant stakeholders, including the regional Finance function.
  • Participating in regional / global projects and working groups across MR.

Your Profile :

  • Sound technical / business university degree with an economic or mathematical focus.
  • 8 years of professional experience in insurance / reinsurance actuarial valuation fields.
  • Professional experience in actuarial / insurance advisory services is a plus.
  • Market-facing experience with extended capability to deeply understand clients’ needs.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and Solvency II as well as structuring capital management solutions.
  • Excellence in working collaboratively and efficiently in often virtual and international group dynamics.
  • Result-oriented mindset combined with out-of-the-box thinking and organizational strength.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in Spanish and English.
