Zinia is the new checkout lending platform of the Santander Group. Zinia makes shopping simple, offering the possibility of splitting payments into interest-free installments in a fast and transparent way, powering merchants across Europe using technology from Openbank and Santander Consumer Finance.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing market within lending, cobranded credit cards, and buy-now-pay-later sectors, with expansion across different countries and global merchants.

Zinia leverages the technological resources and expertise of Openbank, the digital-native bank of the Santander Group, which is currently expanding internationally. Openbank offers customers the ability to manage their finances via its website or app through a simple and flexible banking model.

Mission and responsibilities :

As a Financial Business Manager, you will drive Zinia's business growth by providing financial advisory to the business team, offering tailored banking products to Ecommerce customers. The role focuses on supporting new business opportunities, ensuring long-term profitability, and managing costs.

  • Provide financial analysis during deal negotiations and recommend appropriate banking products and services.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships and follow up on their financial programs.
  • Performance monitoring : Develop and maintain key performance indicators to measure and track business results in Zinia.
  • Cost control and optimization : Identify areas for cost reduction and improve operational efficiency. Implement cost control initiatives to enhance profitability and support best practices.
  • BTB Business case development and support : Create detailed business cases to support decision-making strategies with main products and partners.

To be successful in the role you must have :

  • Over 9 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance; a Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Experience with financial software tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, focused on data-driven decision making.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
