How you will create an impact

• Manage a portfolio of high-value, complex Financial Lines claims, from coverage inquiry through legal liability assessment and quantum analysis, to resolution.

• Ensure timely, accurate, and customer-focused claim resolution, minimizing indemnity exposure and legal expenses, while promoting the principles of ‘Treating Customers Fairly’.

• Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders as our Financial Lines technical claims expert and thought leader.

• Act as a deputy for the Team Manager, providing training and serving as a technical referral point for colleagues.

• Contribute to continuous improvement through supporting Quality Assurance and Regional Audit processes, communicating developments and outcomes to stakeholders.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Strong experience and knowledge in Financial Lines technical claims.

• Law degree preferred.

• Fluent in English.

• Advanced knowledge of legal, regulatory, litigation, and procedural requirements for Financial Lines.

• Experience in stakeholder management, negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and ADR skills on high-value complex claims.

• Policy language skills for accurate interpretation.

• Proven track record of following recommendations from claims audits and improving file handling.

• Ability to influence stakeholders and assist with technical training.

• Attention to detail, good time management, and prioritization skills.
