North Search is seeking a Financial Director for the Iberian subsidiary, based at the Barcelona area. The role focuses on General Ledger, AP/AR, credit policy, auditing and banking relations, and comprehensive financial reporting to CEO and group.

You will lead a small team of analysts, drive forecasting, budgeting, and LRPs, and partner with the site to balance strategic and day-to-day financial decisions in a matrix environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years with progressive finance roles, with a consolidated role as Finance Director.
• Experience in Industrial environments.
• Ability to work, influence, and drive inside a matrix environment.
• Hands-on leader with a strategy-operational mindset.
• Empathetic leadership to develop the team.

We are now searching for a passionate and visionary individual to lead as Financial Director for the Iberian subsidiary, managing a team of 10 people focused on General Ledger, AP, AR, Credit policy, Auditing and banks relations, Reporting, Industrial & Financial Controlling, driving financial performance and business growth, actively contributing as a member of the Iberian Steering Comittee, ensuring consistency and financial acumen in the strategic initiatives as well as the day-to-day activities with a regional scope inside the production site.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial analysis for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting to CEO and group.

Responsibilities

• Financial planning - Includes forecasting, estimates, and supporting the strategic direction for the unit and developing these into short-term (Forecast), medium-term (Budget), and long-term plans (LRP).
• Process Improvement - Be a source of proposals regarding existing process improvement and simplification in alignment with the Controlling department.
• Industrial Partnering - Strategically partner with the industrial site in achieving financial targets, driving profitable growth through in-depth analyses, sharing of key financial insights (standard and ad-hoc reporting), and b) in taking day-to-day and strategic business financial decisions.
• From Insight to Action - sharing the story behind the numbers, and proposing recommendations.

In this role, you will actively contribute as a key person to achieving the objectives, enhancing the finance function, and having a small team of analysts under your responsibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years with progressive finance roles, with a consolidated role as Finance Director.
• Previous Industrial environments knowledge.
• Ability to work, influence, and drive inside a matrix environment.
• Balanced between a strategy-operational mindset, with a hands-on attitude.
• Act as an empathetic leader, helping the team to develop.
