ManpowerGroup is seeking a Financial Controller to lead the finance and accounting function in Spain during an international group integration. The role focuses on aligning local processes with the Italian HQ, driving standardization, and ensuring robust financial reporting and controls.

The candidate will report to the Spain CEO and collaborate with the Group CFO, in a 6-month, on-site assignment based in the Barcelona area. Fluency in Spanish and English (or Italian) is required.

Formación

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 5–8 years in Accounting or Financial Controlling.
• Experience in multinational environments and IFRS/local regs.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish accounting and tax rules.
• ERP experience and financial reporting proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee accounting operations and timely financial reporting.
• Manage month-end and year-end closings.
• Harmonize policies and internal controls with Group standards.

ManpowerGroup is seeking an experiencedFinancial Controllerto join a strategic project within an international Group undergoing expansion and integration.

We are looking for a finance professional with strong expertise in financial controlling and accounting who is eager to play a key role in leading the finance function of a newly acquired Spanish subsidiary. This position will be instrumental in supporting the company's integration into the Group, aligning accounting processes, financial reporting, and internal controls with the standards of the Italian headquarters while ensuring full compliance with Spanish regulations.

?? About the Role

The successful candidate will lead the finance and accounting function in Spain, acting as the main liaison between the local business and the Italian headquarters. This role will play a critical part in post-acquisition integration activities, driving process standardization, financial reporting excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.

?? Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Harmonize local accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls with Group standards.
• Ensure compliance with Spanish accounting, statutory, and tax requirements.
• Prepare Group reporting packages, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial analyses.
• Drive process improvements and support the implementation of standardized finance procedures and systems.
• Act as the main finance point of contact between the Spanish subsidiary and the Italian headquarters.
• Support audits, budgeting, forecasting, and post-acquisition integration projects.

? What We Are Looking For

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in Accounting, Financial Controlling, or similar roles.
• Previous experience in an international or multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish accounting and tax regulations.
• Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Proven track record in process improvement and implementation of internal controls.
• Fluency in Spanish and English or Italian.
• Strong technical accounting skills combined with a proactive mindset, excellent collaboration abilities, and experience managing change in an international environment.
