Flanks, a Barcelona fintech, is seeking a Financial Customer Support Intern to own onboarding and day-to-day support for strategic clients, bridging client needs with the engineering roadmap.

You will gather requirements, track delivery, and ensure new developments land smoothly for those who depend on them. This role blends technical exposure with relationship-building in a fast-growing fintech.

Hybrid work in Barcelona with a chance to grow into a full-time position.

Formación

• Familiarity with financial markets or wealth management is required.
• Strong client-facing communication skills.
• Structured and organized approach to multiple requests.
• Problem-solving mindset and initiative.
• SQL or database skills are a plus.
• Fluent Spanish; English is a plus.

About the role

As our Financial Customer Support Intern, you'll own the onboarding and day-to-day support of Flanks' strategic clients, working within our Tech team and reporting to the CISO. You'll sit at the intersection of client needs and our engineering roadmap — gathering requirements, tracking delivery timelines, and making sure new developments land smoothly for the people who depend on them. It's a client-facing, high-visibility role for someone who wants hands-on exposure to both the technical and relationship side of a fast-growing fintech.

What you'll do

Here's what you can expect to work on:

• Gather client requirements for new features and integrations, and translate them into clear specs for the team

• Own and manage the timeline of new developments, keeping stakeholders aligned on progress

• Be the first point of contact for client issues, triaging and resolving them or escalating when needed.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external providers to keep implementations on track

What we'll love to see

• Some exposure to financial markets or the wealth management space

• Strong client‑facing skills — comfortable communicating with external stakeholders

• A structured, organized approach to juggling multiple requests and deadlines

• A problem‑solving mindset and the drive to figure things out independently

• SQL or database skills are a plus

• Language Proficiency: This position requires a fluent level of Spanish, English is a plus
