Imperial Brands PLC is hiring a Financial Controller on a fixed-term contract with a hybrid setup based in Las Palmas, Canary Islands. The role focuses on high-quality financial control against plan and delivering periodic reports to support tactical and strategic decisions.

You will ensure policy compliance, drive business performance beyond numbers, and contribute to governance and ad hoc analyses. Fluent English and Spanish required, with strong Excel/PowerPoint and SAP experience preferred.

Formación

• Relevant experience in the Finance Dept. (Controlling, Accounting- Dep.), preferably in an FMCG company.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• SAP experience is desirable.
• Planning, organization, and analytical skills.

Responsabilidades

• Complete and accurate submission of all financial reports within given deadlines in standard formats.
• Provide a full variance analysis of movements between forecasts and actuals when required.
• Produce commentaries on the forecasts and movements/variances.
• Support the local ERP customization to build efficient reports.
• Ensure governance around additional spend requests.
• Undertake ad hoc reporting and project work to support non-routine requirements as required.

Financial Controller

Our Financial Controller will perform high-quality control on Imperial Brands' financial performance against plan and help management make tactical and strategic decisions by providing periodic reports.

You are a valuable team member who will ensure Finance policies are fully applied in reporting requirements and will drive business performance beyond pure financial aspects.

Fixed Term Contract

Location: Hybrid work set-up in Las Palmas, Canary Islands
