Juniper Group is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee financial operations across diverse companies in their portfolio. This role involves financial consolidation, analysis, and collaboration with teams across Europe, ensuring compliance, and enhancing reporting efficiency. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and proficient in financial standards, particularly IFRS.

Due to our continuous expansion and constant growth, Juniper Group is seeking to onboard an experienced Financial Controller with deep accounting and financial knowledge and with previous experience in either sell-side or buy-side transactions to participate in acquisition efforts across Europe. Responsibilities

  • Supervision, consolidation and financial-administrative control of all the companies that make up JUNIPER GROUP.
  • Monitoring, analysis and consolidation of monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
  • Review and analysis of the reports of the different business units within JUNIPER GROUP for subsequent consolidation.
  • Support and supervision in internal and external audits requested by the parent company.
  • Automation of processes and procedures in order to reduce reporting time and increase analysis time.
  • Support in the construction of quarterly budgets and follow-up of differences between reality and estimates.
  • Analyze expenses and revenues in order to subsequently propose improvements to increase revenues and reduce expenses.
  • Support and training of personnel in the Juniper Group entities, including newly acquired companies.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics or similar.
  • Advanced level in Excel.
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar position.
  • Spanish – Native Speaker and / or financial language (must).
  • German – knowledge spoken and written (desired requirement).
  • Ability to lead and work in a team.
  • Organized and detail-oriented person.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure, in a dynamic and active environment.
  • Facility to learn the use of specialized software to process and represent financial information.
  • Analytical skills, with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial forecasts and reports.
  • Proactive and able to propose changes or improvements.
  • Knowledge of IFRS standards.
  • Agility to produce reports in English, both financial and control.
