Formación

• 2-4 años de experiencia en una firma de auditoría o contabilidad internacional.
• Conocimientos de GAAP alemán o IFRS son ventajosos.

Descripción del empleo

The Finance Manager / Financial Controller will play a key role in strengthening financial control and management at the Spanish subsidiary. This position is responsible for monthly financial reporting, managing the relationship with the external accounting firm, and supporting the local CEO in terms of profitability and financial performance.

In the mid-term, this position may expand to oversee the financial operations managing other countries as well.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead financial control and economic management of the Spanish subsidiary.
• Ensure accurate monthly financial reporting (local GAAP and group consolidation standards, currently German GAAP).
• Ensure tax compliance.
• Act as the main liaison for the external accounting firm.
• Oversee milestone billing, payment tracking, and receivables follow-up including liquidity planning and forecasting.
• Coordinate issuance of bank guarantees for projects.
• Analyze project profitability and act as a financial “sparring partner” to the CEO for the overall financial performance of the company.
• Identify margin deviations and propose corrective actions.
• Ensure financial documentation is available for audits and group requirements.
• Support financial reporting and processes in other subsidiaries (Portugal, France) once the Spanish entity is stabilized.

Candidate Profile :

• 2–4 years of experience in a Big Four or another international big accounting firm (audit or tax).
• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance or similar.
• Additional training in controlling, IFRS, or project financial management is a plus.
• Experience in an industrial or project-driven environment (preferably EPC or construction).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Interpersonal skills to influence and challenge the local CEO on financial KPIs.
• Autonomous, with the ability to structure financial processes in a growing environment.
• Fluent in Spanish and English. French or German is a plus.
• Knowledge of German GAAP or IFRS is advantageous. Experience in photovoltaic or construction sectors is also beneficial.
• Previous experience in multinational or matrix organizations is appreciated.
• Knowledge of financial reporting tools or ERP systems (e.g. SAGE 50, LucaNet).
