Company:

A leading multinational biotechnology company specializing in the production of Natural Antioxidants and Natural Vitamin E for the food, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, and animal nutrition industries.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Controller will be responsible for ensuring compliance with deadlines and proper financial management of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monthly closings: provisions, analysis, and understanding variances.
2. Reporting to the Board of Directors under IFRS.
3. Reforecasting: estimating the Balance Sheet, Working Capital, and Cash flows.
4. Financial analysis and consolidation for accurate reporting.
5. Preparation of annual accounts.
6. External auditing: liaising with auditors and preparing ad hoc documentation.
7. Internal auditing: conducting annual audits and establishing new controls.
8. General financial control: developing, tracking, and supervising various financial control projects.
9. Collaborating with other financial functions.

Requirements:

• Degree in Business Administration and Management.
• High proficiency in English (at least B2 level).
• 5+ years of experience as a Finance Controller.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• In-depth knowledge of the Spanish General Accounting Plan and consolidation processes.
• Experience in preparing annual accounts and financial reporting.

What We Offer:

• Hybrid work model (40% remote). Working hours: 8:00-9:30 a.m. start, 8.5 hours Monday to Thursday, and a 6-hour workday on Fridays.
• Position based in Alcalá de Henares.
• Fixed salary plus fuel allowance, life insurance, and parking.
