Job summary

Orbotix is seeking a Financial Controller to strengthen the finance team across Romania and Spain, with bases in Brasov or Valencia. This full-time, hybrid role reports to the CFO and requires fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or business.
• Proven experience as a financial controller or similar role.
• Strong IFRS and local GAAP knowledge; budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills; professional English.
• Audit involvement or regulatory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
• Own month-end close and variance analysis.

Job description

Orbotix is recruiting a Financial Controller in Brasov or Valencia, Romania. Contract: full time (hybrid). Degree level: Bachelor's (Finance/Accounting/Business). Language: English (professional). Work experience: Proven controller experience.

The role covers strengthen the Finance team across Orbotix's operations in Romania and Spain, collaborating with Poland and Ukraine:

• prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports
• own month-end close and variance analysis
• lead budgeting and quarterly reforecasts
• ensure IFRS and local GAAP and tax compliance
• maintain internal controls
• coordinate external audits
• monitor cash flow and treasury workflows
• and support the CFO with analysis and dashboards

Can be based in Brasov or Valencia.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in finance, accounting or business
• proven experience as a financial controller or similar, ideally in a startup or technology company
• strong accounting, control and reporting knowledge with IFRS preferred
• budgeting and forecasting
• advanced Excel or Google Sheets
• professional English
• Audit involvement, Romanian or Spanish regulations and defence or robotics experience are nice to have
