ES.780 Houlihan Lokey (Europe) GmbH, Sucursal en España is seeking an experienced analyst to join the Financial Restructuring Group in Madrid. The ideal candidate will assist with restructuring transactions, participate in negotiations, and perform financial analysis for deal teams.

Formación

• Up to 3 years of experience in Leverage Finance or Financial Restructuring.
• Demonstrated interest in financial restructuring and complex transactions.
• Solid knowledge of valuation theory, methodologies, and application.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced analyst to join the Financial Restructuring Group in Madrid. The analyst will work on creditor and debtor‑side restructurings, distressedM&A, and related advisory services.

Responsibilities

• Assist with out‑of‑court restructuring transactions and provide advisory services in stressed and distressed situations.
• Participate in complex negotiations on behalf of clients.
• Provide distressedM&A advisory and support debt and equity raising efforts during distressed circumstances.
• Collate information, perform financial analysis, and prepare reports for deal teams.

Qualifications

• Strong academic record; 2:1 degree in accounting, economics, or finance.
• Up to 3 years of experience in Leverage Finance or Financial Restructuring.
• Demonstrated interest in financial restructuring and complex transactions.
• Solid knowledge of valuation theory, methodologies, and application.
• Strong quantitative, financial, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in LBO and DCF modeling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and ability to collaborate across all levels of staff.
