The role focuses on client acquisition and long‑term relationship management, supported by a licensed multi‑jurisdictional platform, centralised compliance, operations and paraplanning. Hybrid working in La Cala de Mijas is offered.

Formación

• Level 4 qualification in Financial Advice or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a practising Financial Adviser.
• Proven experience building and managing a client book.

Prestige IFA Jobs is delighted to be representing our client, an established international wealth management business, in the search for an experienced Private Wealth Adviser to join its new office in Mijas, near Málaga.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced adviser looking to develop and grow a client base within the international and expatriate market in Spain.

The Opportunity

Our client is looking for a commercially focused Private Wealth Adviser who enjoys both client acquisition and long-term relationship management.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build and develop their own client book, supported by a fully licensed, multi-jurisdictional platform together with centralised compliance, operations and paraplanning support.

This infrastructure allows advisers to focus on what matters most — building relationships, delivering quality financial advice and growing their business.

The role will involve working with internationally mobile clients who may have assets, income or family interests across multiple jurisdictions.

Success will be measured through client acquisition, retention, recurring revenue growth and positive client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Building & Growing a Client Base

• Develop and grow your own client book through referrals, professional networks, events and proactive business development
• Identify and convert prospective clients into long-term advisory relationships
• Build, retain and deepen client relationships through high-quality advice and service
• Generate your own new business opportunities, supported by our client’s established brand, network, marketing activity and professional introducer relationships
• Develop long-term relationships within the international and expatriate community

Client Advice & Financial Planning

• Provide holistic financial advice across investments, pensions, protection, tax and estate planning
• Advise internationally mobile clients with assets, income or family connections across multiple jurisdictions
• Develop appropriate financial planning strategies based on individual client circumstances and objectives
• Conduct regular client reviews and adapt financial plans as goals, circumstances and market conditions change
• Maintain a high standard of client service and professional advice

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Qualifications

• Level 4 qualification in Financial Advice or equivalent
• Previous experience as a practising Financial Adviser
• Proven experience building and managing a client book

• Strong commercial mindset with a clear focus on growth and client acquisition
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence advising internationally mobile and high-earning clients
• Ability to work autonomously while making effective use of central support teams
• High standards of professionalism, organisation and follow-through
• A genuine interest in building long-term client relationships

Desirable

• Previous experience advising expatriate or international clients
• Additional financial services licences or willingness to obtain further regulatory permissions
• Multilingual capabilities
• Existing professional networks within Spain or the wider expatriate market
