YOUR MISSION

We seek a hands-on and experienced Accounting and Reporting Associate Director responsible for external and internal reporting of all Glovo markets at our HQ in Barcelona, aiming to elevate the team!

THE JOURNEY

• Manage financial reporting including balance sheets, P&L, and cash flow
• Ensure compliance with local statutory audit and reporting standards
• Implement controls over financial transactions and reporting for accuracy and compliance
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Act as a liaison between local finance teams and HQ for financial insights
• Serve as the main POC for IFRS and reporting with Delivery Hero
• Lead local accounting and reporting teams in Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Andorra
• Build strong cross-organizational relationships
• Set and review team goals aligned with stakeholders
• Lead and develop a team of 10+ professionals

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in finance or accounting
• 12+ years of relevant experience
• Deep understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and standards
• Experience with public traded companies and reporting obligations
• S/4HANA and OneStream experience (highly desirable)
• Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Business acumen and strategic thinking
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Leadership and team mentoring skills
