Taylor Hopkinson is assisting in the recruitment of a Financial Accountant for a fast-growing international company in the renewable energy sector. The role focuses on accounting operations, Italian tax compliance, and coordination with external auditors.

Based in Valencia, you will manage daily accounting transactions, support monthly and annual reporting, and ensure VAT and withholding tax filings are completed accurately and on time.

Formación

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
• Approximately 3–5 years of accounting, tax, or corporate finance experience.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet multiple deadlines.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Manage daily accounting transactions in accordance with Italian accounting standards and internal policies.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities.
• Monitor and assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely reconciliation and issue resolution.
• Prepare and coordinate indirect and direct tax compliance activities, including VAT returns, withholding tax obligations, and statutory filings.
• Liaise with external accountants, tax consultants, and auditors to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Provide support during tax inspections and statutory audits by gathering and organising the required documentation.
• Assist with intercompany accounting activities and contribute to transfer pricing documentation where required.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure financial documentation is properly archived.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and support the implementation of regulatory updates.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting procedures and improve operational efficiency.
• Act as a reliable point of contact for finance-related queries from internal departments.
