Trek Bicycle Corporation in Madrid, Spain, is seeking an Italian Senior Accountant to join our finance team on a full-time, hybrid basis. The role focuses on preparing financial statements, maintaining internal controls, and supporting international financial activities.

Requirements include at least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, ERP experience, and fluency in Italian and English (Spanish a plus).

• Experience with mid to large ERP systems.
• Italian and English. Spanish as a plus.
• Willing to support international business financials, tax and consolidation.

• Generate ad-hoc financial reports and analyses as requested by management.
• Maintain and reconcile the organization's balance sheet accounts on a regular basis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies related to balance sheet.
• Oversee the acquisition, depreciation, and disposal of company assets.
• Prepare and file Multi tax returns; year-end close assistance with Finance Controller.
• Participate in the implementation of compliance recommendations.

The senior accountant will perform general accounting activities, including preparation of monthly and annual financial statements as well as the reconciliation and maintenance of accounts. In this role, the Senior Accountant prepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions and ensures integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with company policy and GAAP.
