Formación

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Financial Accountant or similar.
• Experience leading an accounting department in an SME.
• In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures.

We are actively seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team. As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for monitoring all financial data, preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, participating in planning sessions, reforecasting, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations.

Your role will encompass setting up MS Dynamics business central, budgeting, managing tax payments, performing internal audits, and providing consultancy to senior managers for cost and revenue analyses.

You should bring 3 to 5 years of experience as a Financial Accountant or similar, plus experience leading an accounting department in an SME.

The Financial Accountant will be based in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain.

Requirements :

• Proven work experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role (more than 3 years’ experience).
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MS Dynamics accounting software.
• In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures, budgeting, and financial planning.
• Solid knowledge of accounting regulations.
• Time-management abilities.
• Confidentiality.
• BSc degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field, CPA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities :

• Gather and monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenues and liabilities).
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statements (balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements).
• Forecast cash, costs, and revenues.
• Manage tax payments.
• Organize internal audits.
• Prepare budgets (for the entire company and by department).
• Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies.
• Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential investments.
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
