We are seeking a highly motivated Finance Trainee to join our team at the Head Office in Barcelona. This role provides an exciting opportunity to support the Finance Manager in day-to-day financial operations within the hotel industry.

Main responsibilities

• Assist the Finance Manager with daily tasks and reporting duties.
• Support the consolidation of financial results and preparation of month-end reports.
• Analyze financial data and results, including the preparation of KPIs and dashboards.
• Control intercompany balances and manage collectable fees.
• Coordinate finance tasks across different business units to ensure timely and accurate information exchange.
• Help with the implementation of internal audit controls to strengthen financial procedures.
• Review balance sheets and support follow-ups on accounts receivable.

Qualifications and requirements

• Currently enrolled in the last course (or just graduated) of Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or similar.
• Possibility to stablish and internship agreement with your University.
• Preferably, be available to start: mid-September or October 2025.
• Availability for 40h/week internship from Monday till Friday (less hours could be valuated) during 6 months.
• Fluency in English (oral and written) is a must. Basic Spanish knowledge is required.
• Previous internship experience in hotels is a big plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Spanish accounting standards (PGC) and UK GAAP accounting standards is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and organizational abilities.
