A leading company in renewable energy is looking for a Finance Specialist to support financial planning and compliance, ensuring effective collaboration with the finance team. The candidate will prepare financial reports, manage budgets, and ensure tax obligations are met while growing within a dynamic environment. This fixed-term contract offers a chance to contribute significantly to transformative projects at the company.

Formación

  • At least 2 years of experience in an accounting firm or similar position.
  • Comprehensive technical and accounting skills.
  • Advanced level of English (C1).

Greenvolt Power is our segment dedicated to the Development & Construction of utility-scale solar and wind projects. We value local expertise and empower our partners, counting already with business presence in more than 16 countries (Europe & North America).

Greenvolt is seeking a Finance Specialist who will work closely with the Finance Manager, providing continuous support in key areas such as financial planning, corporate financing, and strategic business support across the organization.

Note: This position is a fixed-term contract for 6 months, with the possibility of extension for an additional 4 months.

Key accountabilities

  • Support in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and all planning and control analysis activities as needed
  • Review funding needs, plans, and forecast cash and liquidity necessities in coordination with the corporate treasury team
  • Support the preparation of information for the annual report and accounts in coordination with the accounting service provider
  • Control and monitor all tax procedures and ensure compliance with tax obligations in coordination with the local service provider
  • Contact with service providers in the context of financial and tax due diligence and review the conclusions to support transaction documents (SPA, SHA, others)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a similar field
  • At least 2 years of experience in an accounting firm or similar position
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Comprehensive technical and accounting skills
  • Advanced level of Excel is a must
  • Knowledge of finance modules of ERP systems such as SAP
  • Knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills
  • Advanced level of English (C1)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
