Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting a Finance Manager for a well-established international manufacturing group in the Fuenlabrada area of Madrid. The role reports to senior leadership and covers financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, and internal controls, with exposure to senior management.

The successful candidate will lead a local finance team, drive financial governance, and provide strategic insights to support growth and investment decisions, in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and treasury management.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Experience leading a finance team and coordinating external audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities and ensure reliable financial reporting.
• Own annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes; monitor performance vs. budget.
• Coordinate tax compliance, statutory reporting, and liaise with auditors/advisors.
• Oversee treasury, cash flow, liquidity, and working capital management.
• Strengthen internal control frameworks and support audits and governance.
