DESCRIPTION :

This role can be based from our Madrid office or one of our EU6 offices (Luxembourg, London, Munich, Paris, or Milan).

The role will be part of the EU Marketplace Financial Planning and Analysis team. You will collaborate closely with finance and business stakeholders across major European markets (Spain, UK, Germany, France, Italy) and our global HQ in Seattle, focusing on reporting and planning to support the EU Marketplace's growth and profitability objectives.

Key responsibilities:

1. Provide timely and insightful analysis on financial performance.
2. Support business review processes, including monthly and quarterly financial reviews, planning, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis.
3. Drive standardization and streamlining of planning/forecasting processes.
4. Develop tools to enhance performance understanding.
5. Ensure data accuracy, timely availability, and automation in data collection.
6. Build strong relationships within a highly matrixed organization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, business, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in multiple finance and accounting roles.
• Experience in building financial and operational reports/datasets for decision-making.
• Experience participating in continuous improvement projects to enhance controllership with measurable results.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

• MBA or CPA.
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL.
• Proven ability to solve complex business challenges with accurate financial models and analysis.
• Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
