Founded in Switzerland in 2021, Hedera Dx is bringing access to advanced cancer care to the next billion people worldwide. This requires building highly sophisticated technology solutions based on molecular biology and artificial intelligence to serve patients and healthcare professionals.
We bring tumor profiling, the use of liquid biopsies, and real-world data insights to health systems globally. Our work leads to improved patient experiences and outcomes now, while advancing the development of breakthrough precision oncology therapies.

The Finance Lead Role
As a Finance Lead at Hedera Dx, you'll lead the development and oversight of budgeting and forecasting models, investor reporting, and financial optimization initiatives. We’re looking for someone who views every task—big or small—as an opportunity to raise the bar, constantly pushes boundaries, and thrives under pressure while staying laser-focused on the details.
You'll be instrumental in shaping the financial backbone of a company driven by science, data, and purpose - collaborating closely with colleagues, vendors and institutional stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution across financial, legal, and operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities
The Finance Lead will perform several essential tasks, including but not limited to:
- Develop, manage, and optimise budgeting and forecasting models using advanced tooling and GenAI powered workflows.
- Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting, collaborating with external accountants and auditors to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Leverage GenAI for usage tracking, reporting automation, and dynamic financial analytics.
- Champion the internal use of NetSuite (ERP) for real-time financial operations and analytics; including vendor management (track vendor bills against budget), sales performance analytics, and sales forecasting to optimise inventory planning.
- Support vendor contract reviews and cost optimisation initiatives in collaboration with Sales, R&D, and Ops teams.
- Coordinate financing and grants submissions (e.g., EIC Accelerator), aligning stakeholders and ensuring timely delivery.
- Manage financial, legal and ops related documentation in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
Interactions
The Finance Lead will primarily interact with individuals and teams within Hedera Dx, including: Finance & Operations, RevOps, Research and Development (R&D), Product Engineering team, Quality Assurance/Regulatory Affairs (QA/RA), as well as external stakeholders.
Qualifications (Requirements And Experience)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in finance, operations, or a similar role in a biotech, pharma, or tech company.
- Proven hands-on experience with advanced financial modeling and ERPs (NetSuite, in particular).
- Experience managing regular reporting cycles and financial audits.
- Proficient in legal/financial document coordination.

- Fluency in English is required; German is a strong advantage. Other languages (French, Finnish, Spanish) are a plus.
