As our Finance Innovation Analyst you will partner with diverse teams—from IT to Revenue Management—to design smarter processes, leverage data in new ways, and enable cutting-edge solutions that drive better decisions.

What you’ll do as a Finance Innovation Analyst :

• Data-Driven Process Optimization
• Investigate existing workflows—like financial reporting, payment runs, or cost tracking—to discover where advanced analytics and automation can reduce manual effort.
• Explore tools (e.g., Python, Power BI, or RPA platforms) to streamline reporting, saving time and strengthening the accuracy of our financial data.
• Enjoy flexible schedules that balance heads-down project work with personal time, keeping you fresh for big ideas.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work with Finance (Treasury, FP&A, Accounting), Commercial , Operations , and IT to align innovation projects with real business needs.
• Join a friendly community of problem-solvers—through team-building, social meet-ups, and open forums, we believe great solutions come from open conversations.
• Technical Modeling & Analysis
• Use your engineering mindset to create simulation models, test scenarios, and forecast the financial impact of new initiatives (from fleet expansion to cost-control measures).
• We back your growth with resources : from advanced Excel and Power BI masterclasses to upskilling in data engineering or coding.
• Spearhead proofs of concept (PoCs) for next-gen finance solutions—such as automated reconciliations, self-service reporting dashboards, or AI-assisted forecasting.
• Collaborate closely with IT on architecture design and system integration, ensuring each project delivers impactful, maintainable results.
• Driving Change & Continuous Improvement
• Provide training and coaching to finance peers on newly implemented tools and processes.
• Engage leadership to support rollouts and champion the adoption of technology that future-proofs Volotea’s finance function.

What will make you succeed in this position :

• Highly analytical profiles —Engineers, mathematicians, data scientists, or similar backgrounds—who love turning complex data into clear insights. Previous experience in finance is a plus , but a willingness to learn the fundamentals is key.
• Strong problem-solvers —You spot inefficiencies and can propose agile, scalable solutions, using your knack for process improvement and big-picture thinking.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity —You manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, adapt to shifting priorities, and stay organized amid a dynamic environment.
• Collaborative communicators —You can work just as effectively with coders and data analysts as you do with finance managers or external partners.
• Bi- / Multilingual —Working language is English , but knowing Spanish, French, or Italian will enhance your interactions across Europe’s varied markets.
