Momentum Global is partnering with an innovative technology company to identify a Data Scientist to join their growing team in Barcelona, Spain. You will work at the intersection of data science and financial analysis, building models and insights that help business stakeholders make better decisions while stewarding the company’s financial data.

You will develop and maintain KPI dashboards, automate financial close processes, and build predictive models for forecasting and cost analysis.

Formación

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or quantitative analysis.
• Strong background in financial analysis and modelling, including P&L, cash flow, and ARR metrics.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Experience building and validating statistical models.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the complete data lifecycle from creation to storage, usage, and deletion.
• Understand the functional meaning of data within datasets and ensure accuracy.
• Manage data quality with metrics and improvement plans.
• Develop KPI dashboards and reporting tools for profitability, ARR, and cash flow.
• Automate monthly closing and reconciliations, ARR calculations, and other processes.
• Build predictive and prescriptive models for financial forecasting and cost analysis.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify patterns and opportunities.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
