Momentum Global is partnering with an innovative technology company to identify a Data Scientist to join their growing team in Barcelona. This role sits at the intersection of data science and financial analysis, building models and insights to help business stakeholders make better decisions while stewarding the organisation’s financial data.

Formación

• 5+ years in data science, analytics, or quantitative analysis.
• Strong financial analysis and financial modelling knowledge (P&L, cash flow, ARR).
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Experience building and validating statistical models.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to explain complex analyses to non-technical audiences.
• Fluent in English; Spanish desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the complete data lifecycle from creation to storage and deletion.
• Ensure data quality with appropriate metrics and improvement plans.
• Develop KPI dashboards and reporting tools for profitability, ARR, cash flow.
• Automate monthly closing and ARR calculations.
• Build predictive and prescriptive models for financial forecasting and performance.
• Communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
