The Role

The Finance Data Analyst is responsible for providing data-driven insights and analysis to support the finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical profile with a basic understanding of billing and accounting principles, data analysis techniques, and business intelligence tools. His/her mission will be to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for the Finance team to make decisions impacting not only the Finance team but the whole company.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with the finance team to identify and gather data needs.
• Consolidate financial data from various sources to establish a single source of truth of ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) and each of the movements that it comprises.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Provide trustable insights for ARR forecasting.
• Automate financial processes using data analysis tools.
• Data querying, developing, and implementing data visualization dashboards.
• Work with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting and analysis.

About you:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, statistics, or engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in financial analytics.
• Advanced Excel skills, in SQL, DBT, and Python for data analysis.
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with data analysis tools and techniques (SQL).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
