LVMH Beauty Iberia in Madrid seeks a Controller Intern to apply theoretical knowledge to cost analysis, headcount data, and FTE tracking while supporting monthly close and KPI consolidation.

You will assist the HR and Controlling teams in budgeting, salary review preparations, compensation policy implementation, and invoice handling, gaining hands-on experience in luxury retail finance.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, industrial organization engineering or a similar field.
• Master’s degree will be considered a plus.
• English fluent (C1); French or other languages are a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SAP desirable.
• Previous professional experience will be considered a plus.
• Possibility of signing an agreement with a university for at least 6 months, full-time.

Responsabilidades

• Control and analyze all data related to costs, employees' headcount (HC), FTE, etc., ensuring robust follow-up and deviations analysis.
• Update and maintain dashboards, monitor statistics and KPIs by brand, consolidating LVMH P&C figures.
• Update group reporting data and follow up monthly and annually.
• Report and analyze data for HR, including evolution, deviations, and scenarios to aid decisions.
• Participate in the budget process, updating changes and analyses with HRBP and Controlling Team.
• Contribute to annual salary review by verifying salary information and preparing reports.
• Support compensation and benefits policy implementation, forecast expenditures, and compare offers.
• Handle invoices from Compensation & Benefits suppliers.

Job responsibilities

The Controller Intern will apply and complement theoretical knowledge, develop the work competences, and acquire a practical experience through different tasks and responsibilities:

• Control and analyze all data related to costs, employees' headcount (HC), Full-Time Equivalents (FTE), etc., ensuring a robust follow-up and analysis of deviations.
• Update and maintain various dashboards, monitor statistics, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by brand, consolidating LVMH P&C figures.
• Update group reporting data and follow up monthly and annually.
• Report and analyze data for the HR department, including evolution, deviations, and generation of different scenarios to assist in decision-making.
• Participate in the budget process, updating changes and conducting necessary analyses while ensuring adherence to Group and local guidelines. This involves close collaboration with HR Business Partners and the Controlling Team.
• Contribute to the annual salary review process by verifying and updating salary information and preparing reports for the salary review.
• Support the implementation of Compensation and Benefits policies, including comparing offers and proposals, forecasting expenditures, etc.
• Handle invoices from Compensation & Benefits suppliers.

PROFILE NEEDED

• MAIN STUDIES: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Industrial Organization Engineering or similar field. Master’s degree will be considered a plus.
• LANGUAGES: English (Fluent C1). French and/or other languages are considered a plus.
• IT TOOLS: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel). Knowledge of SAP desirable.
• EXPERIENCE: Previous professional experience will be considered a plus.
• OTHER: Possibility of signing agreement with university for at least 6 months, full-time.
