We are seeking a talented and experienced Finance Consultant Italian Market to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and optimizing the expenses feature of our HR software to clients, helping them streamline their financial processes and achieve greater efficiency in expense management.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Finance Consultant to join our growing consulting team at Factorial. You’ll work alongside 15+ consultants across Finance, Payroll, and Talent—helping build and scale our finance services offering. Finance Management is a key Domain that includes Expenses Management, Account Payable / Procurement, Project Management, and Financial Workspace. Your main challenge will be to adapt our product to meet client needs by understanding their processes and identifying improvements. You’ll use your financial expertise and tech know-how to support clients in optimizing their finance processes with Factorial’s tools, deliver high-impact insights, and shape scalable service packages to drive growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Finance Enablement : Help clients implement and optimize finance operations using Factorial’s solutions. Train finance teams, share best practices, and support process automation.
  • Design Scalable Services : Create repeatable service packages—from discovery and training to strategic advisory.
  • Act as a Trusted Advisor : Understand client needs, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements. Support compliance, audit readiness, and use analytics for cost savings.
  • Collaborate Across Teams : Work with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure aligned delivery.
  • Bridge Product and Market : Provide feedback to the Product team, support testing, and validate features to meet client needs.
  • Support Marketing : Contribute expertise to promote our finance solutions through campaigns and educational content.

What You Bring

  • Education : Bachelor’s in Finance, Business Administration, or related; Master’s or certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
  • Experience : At least 3 years in finance consulting, financial operations, or ERP / SaaS implementation.
  • Languages : Fluency in English and native Italian.
  • Understanding of finance processes : Approvals, expenses, budgeting, reporting.
  • Software skills : Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Business Central, Sage, SAP, Power BI is a plus.
  • Service delivery : Experience in building or delivering structured services at scale.
  • Communication skills : Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Mindset : Collaborative, hands-on, and passionate about building from the ground up.
