A leading company in the agricultural sector is seeking a Finance professional to drive financial strategy and business growth within the DACH region. You will lead financial planning and analysis activities, contribute to budgeting and forecasting, and drive improvements in reporting systems. This role requires a solid background in finance, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel and SAP, along with the ability to communicate effectively in both English and German.

Formación

  • 3 years in Finance and Controlling.
  • Excellent understanding of IFRS accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Fluency in English and German is a must.

As a key player within the DACH Commercial Unit, you'll be instrumental in shaping financial strategy and driving business growth.

  • Performing Financial Planning & Analysis activities for the DACH Commercial Unit.
  • Be a trusted partner to CP Commercial Finance Lead DACH to provide insightful analysis and recommendations on the respective financials.
  • Driving improvements and technology adaptations in Financial Planning & Analysis processes.

What You'll Do :

Financial Planning & Analysis : Lead FP&A activities for the DACH Commercial Unit, partnering closely with the CP Commercial Finance Lead DACH. You will be a trusted advisor, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to influence key financial decisions. This includes driving improvements and integrating new technologies into our FP&A processes.

Month-End Close & Reporting : Take ownership of the monthly financial close process, including analyzing sales and function costs, providing insightful commentary to stakeholders, and ensuring accurate accrual reporting. Active participation in month-end close meetings will be essential.

Actionable Financial Insights : Deliver timely and insightful financial analysis to support data-driven business decisions. You’ll leverage technology like SAC to develop interactive reports and dashboards (SAC stories), empowering business owners with the information they need. You will also own the analysis and commentary of function cost variances.

Master Data Governance : Maintain accurate and up-to-date master data, including cost center structure, delegation of authorities, and headcount reporting.

Budgeting & Forecasting : Develop reliable budgets and rolling forecasts for your designated P&L area. Provide guidance to business managers and function cost owners on achieving budget targets, and contribute to strategic business planning. You'll also play a key role in the Business Review Process (BPR), providing insightful commentary and full-year outlooks.

Digital Transformation : Embrace and contribute to the development of cutting-edge business intelligence tools, data visualization techniques, and predictive analysis, driving innovation within the finance function.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Critical knowledge and experience :

  • 3 years in Finance and Controlling.
  • Bachelor / Master / MBA / Business School in Economics or Finance.
  • Understanding of IFRS accounting, budgeting, forecasting and planning processes.
  • Excel & SAP knowledge is a must, and business intelligence systems an advantage.
  • A high level of English and German is a must.
