Formación

  • University degree in Accounting or Business Administration with 2 years of experience.
  • Vocational Training in Accounting with 5 years of experience.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, with solid knowledge of fiscal law.

Responsabilidades

  • Identify local requirements for financial statements and engage local accountants.
  • Submit and pay tax declarations, maintain local books, and recover tax refunds.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate accounting requirements and optimize payments.

Finance / Business Administration Specialist

Tasks

Your main tasks include, among others :

  • Identify local requirements for financial statements and contact the Head Office, collect necessary data, engage local accountant / auditors if required.
  • Formulate local accounting specifics including VAT and WHT regulations, forward to HQ accounting.
  • Submit and pay tax declarations (VAT, CIT, PIT), provide reports, maintain local books, recover tax refunds.
  • Handle tax audits, share information with HQ and partners, communicate tax compliance issues and risks.
  • Establish contact with local / regional collection companies / law firms.
  • Define local invoicing specifics, coordinate scanning and archiving of invoices.
  • Optimize currency repatriation, monitor bank balances, manage financial sanctions, reconcile unclaimed payments.
  • Fulfill local corporate compliance tasks (e.g., company registration, e-Signatures, GDPR, surveys, PoAs).
  • Perform annual closing.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate accounting requirements.
  • Optimize payments considering local fiscal requirements.
  • Provide financial and administrative support in emergencies and aircraft incidents / accidents.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements :

  • University degree (Bachelor) in Accounting, Business Administration, etc., with at least 2 years of work experience.
  • Vocational Training in Accounting, Business Administration, etc., with at least 5 years of work experience.
  • Alternatively, A-level / High School Diploma with 8 years of work experience.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
  • Solid knowledge of fiscal law.
  • Knowledge of local tax compliance and regulatory regulations.
  • Very good knowledge of MS-Office products.
  • SAP knowledge is desirable.
  • Diligent, independent, and systematic approach to work.
  • Goal-oriented, with the ability to deal with complex issues.
  • Strong numeracy skills, ability to prioritize.
  • Courteous manner and social skills, customer- and team-oriented.
  • Ability to instruct colleagues in technical matters.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Must possess a legal work permit in Spain.
