We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Associate to join our growing finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting or finance who is eager to contribute to day-to-day financial operations, reporting, and compliance in a dynamic and international environment. You will support financial processes across multiple areas including accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and internal reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and assist in maintaining accurate general ledger records
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, internal reports, and variance analysis
  • Monitor and support accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of expense reports and vendor payments
  • Help maintain financial documentation and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
  • Participate in the development and improvement of financial processes and internal controls
  • Assist in the coordination of audits and respond to audit inquiries as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, HR, Product) to support business needs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 2–3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS)
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets;
  • Familiarity with NetSuite ERP Software Suite is of significant value add
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish is of significant value

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in a tech, fintech or SaaS company
  • Knowledge of local Spanish accounting/tax practices
  • Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or financial planning processes
  • Familiarity with international financial operations (e.g., multi-currency, intercompany transactions, payment processing)
