Job summary

MiiN Cosmetics is hiring a Finance Assistant to join our on-site team in Barcelona. You will support daily bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, supplier invoice processing, and cross-entity accounting activities, while maintaining clear records and preparing Excel reports.

Ideal candidates have a university degree in finance or related field, familiarity with Excel, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset. English and Spanish proficiency is required; other languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• University degree or Higher Vocational Education in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• Must meet the legal requirements for a Contrato Formativo.
• Experience in a similar role or finance internship is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support GL accountant with daily bookkeeping, journal entries and monthly closing tasks.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Register, code, and check supplier invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Support accounting operations of foreign group entities.
• Maintain organized accounting documentation and prepare Excel reports.
• Assist with other financial tasks as needed.

Please note:

• This is an on-site position based in Barcelona.

What will be your responsibilities?

• Support the GL accountant with daily bookkeeping, journal entries, and monthly closing tasks.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Register, code, and check supplier invoices (domestic and international) against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Support the accounting operations of foreign entities within the group.
• Maintain organized accounting documentation and prepare Excel reports for the finance team.
• Support other financial tasks related to the position.

What are we looking for?

• Education & Eligibility: University degree or Higher Vocational Education in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, completed within the last 3 years. Must meet the legal requirements for a Contrato Formativo.
• Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or finance internship is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of Excel. Experience or familiarity with ERP systems (SAGE or similar platforms) is highly valued.
• Soft Skills: Proactive, organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and eager to learn.
• Languages: Advanced level of Spanish and English; additional languages are a plus.
