Overview

Are you ready to drive PepsiCo’s digital evolution and accelerate transformation across our global operations? The Finance Application Architect (TM1) is a key contributor in designing, developing, and maintaining financial planning and analytics solutions using IBM Planning Analytics (TM1). This role involves customizing IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) as part of the Mosaic initiative.

This position combines technical expertise with a deep understanding of finance processes to create robust, scalable, and efficient systems that enable data-driven decision-making. The focus includes:

  • Mosaic Core Model deployment
  • Architectural design for future Mosaic solutions
  • Enhancing scalability, performance, and integration

Additionally, this role plays a vital part in cross-functional collaboration, ensuring seamless system integration, optimizing financial workflows, and driving best practices in financial analytics.

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day with us includes:

  1. Solution Architecture & Deployment: Co-lead and support end-to-end architecture and deployment of Mosaic Core 2.0, ensuring alignment with global standards. Design scalable, high-performance financial planning solutions. Define and implement best practices for TM1 model development. Ensure architecture meets business needs while maintaining governance and compliance.
  2. Finance Application Strategy & Design: Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to translate objectives into scalable solutions. Lead future enhancements and develop technical roadmaps for TM1 and retirement plans for other applications.
  3. Performance Optimization & Scalability: Implement strategies to improve system performance, optimize data flows, cube calculations, and model structuring for efficient reporting and analysis.
  4. Data Integration & Automation: Manage integration between TM1 and other systems, automate data loading, transformation, and reconciliation processes.
  5. Governance, Compliance & Best Practices: Review and enforce TM1 development standards, maintain data accuracy, reliability, and auditability.
  6. Training, Support & UAT: Conduct training sessions, lead User Acceptance Testing, and provide ongoing support to optimize workflows.

Qualifications

What you will need to succeed:

  • Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), proficiency in model development, scripting, rules, feeders, and cube design. Knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, ETL processes, and TM1 add-ins.
  • Finance Process Knowledge: Deep understanding of budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting. Ability to design aligned financial solutions.
  • Solution Architecture & Advisory: Expertise in designing scalable, reliable solutions and strategic implementation.
  • Communication & Leadership: Strong stakeholder engagement, ability to explain technical concepts, and experience working with cross-functional teams.

Preferred qualifications include experience with ERP integration, TM1 Cloud, Agile methodologies, and leading digital transformation projects.
