MiMIAT Health is a multilingual digital platform that empowers people living with chronic conditions to track and manage their health data, starting with digestive health, and expanding into cardiovascular, respiratory, and chronic pain. We are live across Europe and Kenya, available in five languages, and collaborating with public institutions, independent providers, and universities.

What are we looking for?

We’re seeking a Finance & Fundraising Lead (pro bono, 4–5h/week, with potential for paid FTE based on performance and funding) to help build the financial backbone of MiMIAT Health as we scale. This role is hands-on and high-trust, ideal for someone who believes in the power of numbers to drive impact, not just profit. Based on performance and commitment, it could evolve into a paid part-time or full-time role as the organization grows and funding allows.

You will work directly with our Founder/CEO and COO, shaping budgeting, forecasting, capital raising, and funder relations. As we close our pre-seed round and move into the next phase, your contribution will influence our growth and reach.

What you’ll do

1. Co-develop financial planning, budgeting processes, and 3–5 year financial models to support strategic growth and fundraising.
2. Create funder-facing materials such as budgets, burn rates, and strategic use of funds.
3. Support fundraising strategy and manage active pipeline of funding opportunities.
4. Help structure and monitor our runway, budgeting, and internal financial processes.
5. Collaborate on investor narratives and data room preparation with the CEO.

Who are you?

• You can build financial models from scratch, including projections, P&L, and cash flow statements.
• You have experience with early-stage startups (pre-seed to Series A), especially in raising capital.
• You understand investor expectations and how to balance strategy with real-world constraints.
• You can simplify complex financial data for funders, partners, and team members.
• You are motivated by purpose and impact, not just perks.
• Bonus: experience in healthcare or social impact sectors.
