Fall Creek is creating a world with better blueberries through its friendly, collaborative team spread across the globe. To help us accomplish this, we are seeking a qualified FINANCE ANALYST. This position will be located in SEVILLE.

Position Summary:

The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in helping Fall Creek make strong decisions. By serving as one of the analytical gurus at Fall Creek, the Financial Analyst will delve deep into the company’s financial and operational data to deliver impactful reporting and insights. This position offers the opportunity to partner with teams across functions and geographies, providing a comprehensive view of the company and industry.

Organizational Fit:

This position reports to Fall Creek’s Sr. Financial Planning & Analysis Manager.

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities:
  • Performance: Analyze monthly financial and operational performance against budget/forecast and prior year, investigate variances, collaborate with internal teams to understand key drivers, capital expenditures, utilizing NPV and IRR analyses. Present results to managers & executives.
  • Planning & Forecasting: Support the annual planning and quarterly forecasting processes by gathering relevant input information.
  • Project Support: Provide financial and operational analysis support for key projects.
  • Budgeting: Assist in creating the annual budget in collaboration with controllers and department leaders.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop strong working relationships within the internal Partnership team, Finance and Operations, and third parties.
  • Tools & Processes: Support the implementation of new finance tools, software, and processes.
  • Challenging Status Quo: Question and challenge existing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Reporting: Provide ad hoc reports as needed.
  • Other duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Management, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or related analytical field.
  • At least 2 years of professional analytical experience.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively present complex ideas, including graphical representations, to senior management.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivots, macros).
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Understanding of basic programming concepts.
  • A drive to find the right answers, not just the easiest or first answers.
  • Commitment to continuous learning.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • High proficiency in English (B2-C1 level).
