Job Description :
We are looking for a Service Engineer. Public Safety and Security is the Program Unit for advanced communications solutions in areas such as Public Safety, Defence, Transportation and Industry. We offer our customers worldwide a comprehensive range of communication and collaboration solutions based on TETRA, Tetrapol, and Broadband technologies.
As part of our Program Delivery organisation the Service Engineer oversees the end-to-end delivery of services to our clients, from planning to execution, ensuring that they receive exceptional support and solutions.
Main Task and responsibilities :
Working on projects related to Public Safety, Defence, Transportation, and Industry in radio-communication systems based on Tetra, Tetrapol, and 4G / 5G Broadband. This includes HW / SW, Radio, Networks, and virtualisation.
Possess the minimum necessary knowledge to provide technical support, with continuous training. Understand the system and stay up-to-date with its updates and modifications.
Ensure 24-hour technical assistance (at company or client facilities), in accordance with defined client contracts.
Provide technical support for various Operations projects.
Manage relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues at national and international levels, with problem-solving capabilities within the scope of your responsibilities.
Analyse incidents and resolve them when possible, or escalate detected system failures to the support area.
Perform the procedure for the implementation and validation of new system versions and execute it as described.
Create all necessary technical support documentation, both internal and external.
Provide technical support to the sales / orders area.
Deliver or collaborate in the various technical training sessions provided by the company.
