While expanding sales in four continents, the company is focused on expanding features to its existing products. The target market is essentially in the wine industry and in high power fiber lasers for material processing and additive manufacturing.

Since its creation in 2006, the company has substantially invested in high technology and innovative laser products. These products systematically and progressively substitute old technology equipment in a wealthy wine industry that is ready to invest in improving its corporate image.

We look for driven and enthusiastic technicians with a background in Electric, Electronics, and/or Mechatronics/Automation, and/or experience in field servicing industrial equipment or domestic appliances (i.e.: TV, washing machines, etc.) who believe they need to be part of this mission working together with other in-company or outsourced engineers & technicians.

You’ll be working on the guts and skin of an entirely new machine, an industrial laser system that lets cork stopper producers worldwide accomplish their daily branding tasks in an easy & simple way that you, as a field service technician, will have participated together with our engineers in its design, manufacture, installation, and service.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

While this role is written for someone with a technical background and some industry experience, available for frequent domestic/international traveling, and at least a good level of English or French, if you’re great at what you do and excited about what we do, we want to talk to you whether you’re brand new to the industry or you’ve been a senior tech for decades. A good level of English or French is a must in any case.

First and foremost, performing any task that helps us create and maintain an amazing product for our customers, which will include stretching your training and troubleshooting skills in new directions, pitching in when your colleagues need help, collaborating daily with other technicians and engineers, and with our customers located in major wine-producing countries.

Integrate, install & service the equipment, and provide training to users worldwide.

Maintain the Help Desk documents that help users when in trouble.

Care for safety.

Participate in the improvement of novel or enhancing existing functionalities that make ONLASER’s Décork laser systems reliable and operate efficiently.

YOU NEED THESE QUALIFICATIONS

Some years of industry experience.

Fluent spoken and written English and/or French at a technical level.

You have frequent domestic/international traveling availability.

Driving license and your own car for short distance trips (≤8,000 km/year).

You’re passionate about troubleshooting and still know that you sometimes have to make some trade-offs to quickly have the equipment up and running.

You’re excited about being personally responsible for making ONLASER’s Décork products successful, and you’re comfortable navigating ambiguity that arises in a startup environment, adjusting to changing priorities, and moving confidently even when guidance is limited.

You have practical experience with computers (SW & HW configuration and repair), PLC’s, industrial laser marking/engraving systems and vision systems, and PhotoShop.
